Safe and modern towns, cities and communities. Alberta’s crime rate is the lowest among western provinces.

Connected communities. Alberta has the best fibre optics and wireless communication network in Canada (98% of households have access to a wireless signal).
An excellent educational system that includes public, Catholic and francophone school jurisdictions and post-secondary institutions such as Grande Prairie Regional College, Fairview College Campus, Northern Lakes College and other affiliated institutions. The primary and secondary school system is publicly funded. Post-secondary institutions are publicly supported, allowing for affordable education.
Comprehensive health services. The Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie is the largest hospital in the region and provides access to a full range of services. Additional hospitals are located in Peace River, Beaverlodge, Fairview, Grimshaw, Manning, McLennan and Valleyview.
Natural scenic beauty including vast forests, pristine lakes, major rivers, acres of unspoiled wilderness and an abundance of wildlife.

Numerous cultural festivals, sporting events, fairs and rodeos.
