The Peace Country has a wide variety of stores ranging from small independent shops to large franchise operations. Grande Prairie is the region's major shopping centre, and you can also take a trip to Edmonton to shop at the West Edmonton Mall, one of the largest shopping mall in the world!
Shopping in the Smaller Towns
Probably everything you will need is available in the Peace Country. The number of stores in the smaller centres is affected by the size of the population. However, nearly all national stores are represented in the Peace Country and many of the smaller towns are well stocked.
