Peace Country Cultural Industries Coalition

Vision: Peace Country Cultural Industries Coalition will establish cultural industries as a significant driver of the Peace region economy.

Mission: Peace Country Cultural Industries Coalition provides area individuals, groups, organizations and businesses involved in cultural industries with support by profiling regional culture to the world and living the art locally by building on the resources and talents we have here.

The Peace Country Cultural Industries Strategic Action Plan, January 2010 examines the challenges identified by the participating members of the Peace region’s arts community and provided comprehensive and manageable solutions to many of the issues, with a specific focus on strategies to elevate cultural industry into a significant driving force of the Peace region’s economy.

The Strategic Action Plan provides a roadmap for the Peace Country Cultural Industries Coalition, formed in March 2009. Their role is to oversee the completion of the goals and objectives outlined in the plan.

Peace Region Manufacturers Association (PeRMA)

PeRMA, a PREDA project, is a working network of manufacturers and fabricators in the Alberta Peace region.  PeRMA is continually searching for possible job, product and market opportunities, these are communicated to the members and where possible, assistance is offered to members to exploit these opportunities.  PeRMA exists to support its members in improving their economic situation and that of their local communities.
